WHAT DOES THE SKILLS CENTRE OFFER?

Fundamental Movement Development

Ball Mastery & Artistry

1v1 Attacking Skills

1v1, 2v2, 3v3 & 4v4 Challenges

Sessions are open to Boys & Girls in Years 2 - 7 who want to learn techniques in a challenging, fun and educational environment.  Many players attend to improve their techniques ready for their weekend matches, some to gain confidence and some to just have fun.  Whatever your reason for playing, the Skills Centre is the place for you!

There are a number of children who have also used the Skills Centre as a stepping stone towards our Elite Skills Centre which offers players opportunities to play against and trial for professional football clubs.  Children attending the Elite Skills Centre are normally those who are technically proficient in all areas, if that is your aim then the Skills Centre will help you get there!

TRAINING KIT

When booking you will be offered the chance to purchase a Skills Centre training kit for your child.  This inlcludes a personalised white shirt and navy shorts & socks.

KITBAG

Players will need a drink with them at all Skills Centre sessions. All venues are outdoors so please dress appropriately and ensure that in the winter months your child wears a tracksuit/jumper and has a waterproof jacket, gloves and hat.

Group Sizes & Abilities

Groups are kept to a maximum of 14 children, with an average group size of 10.  This maximises coach to player contact time. Players may be placed in a group based on their ability and not just their age.

With the emphasis on individuial development, each player will be set a multitude of challenges during each training session.  Challenges will vary from other players on the group in recognition of each childs individual progress and abilities.  No player will be placed in a group which will have adverse effects on their confidence.
